We are establishing a new, agile Cryptographic-Services Squad within our Core Products division, focusing on providing innovative, secure, and reliable switching solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and experienced Software Engineer passionate about tackling complex business challenges with cutting-edge technology.
This role involves ensuring high-quality application codebases and adherence to development standards. You will contribute to the design of automation for full infrastructure deployment, including reviewing and testing compatibility and integration processes. A key aspect is automating large-scale systems across multiple environments and locations, writing code for public cloud, private cloud, and bare metal.
Key responsibilities include automating common tasks using an IaaS model with tools like Chef or Ansible, and writing complex scripts for automation, tools, and frameworks. You will orchestrate the deployment and maintenance of complex applications, handle performance engineering for the enterprise software architecture, and engage in significant code development, pull-request reviews, and daily support duties.
A strong foundation in Java, Spring, and Springboot is essential for this role. You should be experienced in event-driven systems such as Apache Kafka or NATS. Extensive experience with cryptography within the payment cycle, including session key derivation and validation, is required. Proficiency in Triple DES and Advanced Encryption Standard techniques is also necessary.
Furthermore, a solid understanding of Thales or equivalent Payment Validation HSM modules and their commands is expected. Prior engineering experience, particularly in high-volume, low-latency transaction processing systems like payment switching or real-time event streaming, is highly valued. Experience in CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins and delivering scalable products through CI/CD pipelines on-prem or in public clouds is crucial.
