This Lead Software Engineer role focuses on driving the development and delivery of innovative software solutions. The position involves researching technical alternatives, ensuring daily team activities meet stringent SLA requirements, and leading complex projects with significant business impact.

Lead major projects and assignments, creating innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions. Manage day-to-day system development and maintenance activities to meet service level agreements.

Develop strategic technical plans and architecture proposals. As a subject matter expert, lead the planning, design, and implementation of technical solutions. Assist in business case development and scenario planning for effective decision-making.

Examine and recommend commercially available and forthcoming industry technologies. Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and maintain solution and technology roadmaps.

Partner with Project Managers on process implementation, defining technical scope, and managing project scope. Define quality metrics and lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.

Ensure adequate test coverage across Unit, System/Integration, and Performance Testing. Conduct quality inspections throughout the SDLC, including reviews of requirements, architecture, design, code, and security. Coordinate offshore development and mentor team members.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.

This role necessitates 5 to 8 years of experience in related fields, with a preference for 5 to 8 years in delivering secure solutions within the Financial Services Sector. Advanced knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies are essential.
