We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Java Backend to contribute to our innovative software solutions. This role involves the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
As a Lead Software Engineer, you will analyze, design, and develop robust software solutions, defining requirements for new applications and customizations. You will be instrumental in designing scalable, high-performance applications for real-time and batch processing, employing expertise in APIs, event-driven services, and messaging systems. Responsibilities include contributing to cloud and DevOps architecture, utilizing tools for code quality analysis, and implementing secure coding practices. You will also mentor team members, drive the adoption of technology standards, and participate in product demos and acceptance discussions.
We require a professional with 8-13 years of experience in software development, with profound expertise in scalable, high-performing application design. Key technical proficiencies include Java, REST API, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, and Oracle. Familiarity with tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ, Sonar, Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. An understanding of secure coding standards, basic engineering principles for mission-critical software, and debugging techniques is expected. Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD), and API standards is also a must. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
