As a Technical Lead, you will spearhead the technical direction for cardholder applications, guiding the entire lifecycle from design and development to integration, testing, and deployment. Your role involves making critical architectural decisions for Java/Spring Boot services, React/Angular frontends, APIs, databases, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure. You'll champion engineering excellence, conduct technical evaluations and Proofs of Concept, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and production-ready.

Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Quality Engineering teams, providing essential technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers. Drive best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

We are seeking a candidate with strong hands-on expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot, complemented by proficiency in React and/or Angular. A deep understanding of REST APIs, Web Services, and microservices architecture is essential. Candidates must demonstrate robust experience with Oracle/SQL, including query optimization and data validation, and familiarity with Kafka or similar event-driven platforms. A solid grasp of distributed systems, design patterns, scalability, and resiliency is required.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, code reviews, and automated deployments is crucial, as is familiarity with cloud platforms like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, or container technologies. Knowledge of API gateways, authentication mechanisms, and secure service integrations is expected. Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support skills are paramount. The ability to lead technical design, architecture reviews, PoCs, and complex initiatives, alongside excellent technical leadership, communication, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities, will make you an ideal candidate.
