This role focuses on enhancing user spend and engagement through robust payment modernization.

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in leading and delivering high-quality software solutions using agile methodologies. Your role involves providing exceptional application development capabilities for digital projects, focusing on the Pro Finance domain within our Cross-Border payments platform.

You will develop application code and conduct unit testing for REST Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot, Java-J2EE, and related open-source technologies. Additionally, you'll build user interfaces for modern rich internet applications using the latest NodeJS-based front-end technologies like React or Vue. You will also be responsible for leading the design and development of microservices built with Spring Boot on the Cloud, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.

Key responsibilities include performing product analysis and development tasks of increasing complexity, integrating content feeds via APIs (JSON, XML, RSS), and ensuring adherence to the highest quality control processes. You will document application components for support and training, and leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot for enhanced productivity.

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. A strong understanding of cloud technologies including CI/CD, Python, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, and Hazelcast is essential.

Candidates must possess hands-on experience with RESTful services and be well-versed in Bitbucket and GitHub for version control. Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and writing cross-browser compatible code is required. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Karate, Cucumber, Jest) and performance testing tools like Dynatrace is highly beneficial.

While strong knowledge in core technologies is paramount, exposure to other skills mentioned is sufficient to learn on the job and grow into a full-stack lead developer role.
