Lead the analysis, design, development, and delivery of robust software solutions, ensuring adherence to MasterCard's stringent standards and best practices. You will define application requirements, create comprehensive technical documentation including use cases and design artifacts, and develop detailed test strategies, performance benchmarks, and deployment plans.
Manage the full systems development lifecycle, including system maintenance, production incident resolution, root cause analysis, and on-call support. You will evaluate and select appropriate technical frameworks and methodologies, research emerging technologies, and participate in Proofs of Concept to guide vendor and technology selections. Champion Quality Assurance and Control processes, continuously seeking opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency improvements.
We seek individuals with a strong foundation in software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts. Proficiency in leveraging industry-standard test automation frameworks, tools, and practices, along with knowledge of continuous delivery pipelines, is essential. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall environments is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across multiple operating systems including Windows, Unix, and Linux is required. You should possess solid experience with relational databases, including writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures, and expertise in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
In-depth knowledge of the Java language and its related frameworks, coupled with extensive experience in designing and architecting scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant production systems using Microservices Architecture, is crucial. Experience in Event Driven Application Development and familiarity with configuration management tools such as Bitbucket, Git, or Mercurial, along with Maven and Jenkins Pipeline, are key technical requirements. A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is expected.
