As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of robust software solutions. You will define application requirements and customizations, ensuring adherence to MasterCard's high standards and best practices. Your role involves collaborating with global teams on credit card authorization software, contributing to system maintenance, and managing production incidents. You will also research emerging technologies, participate in Proofs of Concept, and promote quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

We seek individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Essential knowledge includes software design principles, patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading. You should be proficient in test automation frameworks, continuous delivery practices, and possess experience with Agile and Waterfall environments. A strong understanding of relational databases, efficient SQL query writing, and experience with Unix/Linux, shell scripting, Java, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Application Development, and configuration management tools like Bitbucket and Git are crucial. Expertise in Maven, Jenkins Pipeline, and XML is also required.
