As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a hands-on developer specializing in Java, with a primary focus on creating robust software development kits (SDKs) and API services. You will play a key role in designing and implementing these critical components across multiple products and services within our digital payments ecosystem.
Collaborate closely with technical leads and Product Management to ensure successful project delivery. Working within an agile framework, you will mentor fellow engineers, implement high-quality solutions for new features, and research emerging frameworks and technologies. Your contributions will include prototyping, participating in code reviews, and upholding a high standard of code quality.
We are seeking candidates with strong communication, relationship, collaboration, and organizational skills. A solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and App Servers are essential. Proficiency in integrating web services and a deep comprehension of web and mobile browser-based applications are also required.
Additional desirable skills include experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD), Git version control, eCommerce platforms, and continuous delivery/integration practices. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a comparable combination of relevant experience and education is expected.
