The Business Applications team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to enhance billing operations and optimize systems. You will be instrumental in designing, integrating, and supporting billing systems, leveraging platforms like Snowflake, Oracle ERP, and NetSuite. A deep understanding of billing operations, revenue recognition, and financial reporting is crucial. The role involves process mapping, requirements gathering, and transforming business needs into technical specifications. Managing multiple priorities, maintaining delivery quality, and proactively identifying improvements are essential. Experience with data security, privacy regulations, and compliance is valued. You will also mentor team members, promote strong engineering practices, and cultivate a collaborative environment.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Python, and Shell scripting is essential. Familiarity with testing and validating integrations across REST APIs, microservices, SaaS platforms, and iPaaS solutions, including ETL and database systems, is necessary. Strong expertise in SQL, RDBMS, and Snowflake, encompassing data modeling, complex queries, performance tuning, and data validation across various databases, is expected. Basic understanding of Salesforce CRM concepts and NetSuite ERP, including billing and financial reporting, is beneficial. Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Agile methodologies is required. Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools is a plus. Prior experience in payments or financial services, along with knowledge of data security and compliance, is preferred.
