As a Lead Software Engineer, you will specialize in Java development, focusing on creating robust software development kits (SDKs) and API services for our MasterPass digital wallet solution. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing SDKs and APIs across various products and services, collaborating closely with technical leads and the Product Management team. Working within an agile framework, you'll mentor fellow engineers and technical delivery teams, delivering high-quality solutions for new features and services. Your role will also involve researching emerging frameworks, prototyping, conducting proof-of-concepts, participating in code reviews, and upholding exceptional code quality.

We are seeking individuals with strong communication, relationship, collaboration, and organizational skills. Essential technical expertise includes a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and App Servers, along with proven experience integrating web services. Familiarity with web and mobile browser-based applications is also required. Highly desirable skills include experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Test-Driven Development, Git, eCommerce, and continuous integration/delivery. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education is necessary.
