Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud-native infrastructure and platform services. Develop highly available and resilient solutions within the AWS environment. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other automation frameworks.
Drive Kubernetes platform engineering, focusing on cluster architecture, performance, observability, and governance. Enhance CI/CD pipelines for secure and efficient software delivery. Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency through advanced automation and best practices.
Collaborate with application teams to establish platform standards and accelerate cloud-native adoption. Conduct technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance. Engage in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability enhancement efforts. Mentor engineers, fostering technical excellence and a culture of continuous learning. Evaluate new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and developer experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure engineering.
Demonstrated experience in designing and operating production workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and building Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform is essential. Strong expertise in administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments is crucial. Proficiency in developing automation using languages such as Python, Go, or Bash, and experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation are expected.
A solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, routing, and connectivity architectures is necessary. Experience implementing cloud security controls, identity management, and access governance is required. Proven ability to support production systems and participate in operational on-call rotations, coupled with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, are vital for success in this role.
