Seeking a Senior VMware Administrator to serve as a technical expert for infrastructure projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related SDDC platforms. This role involves operating at the forefront of engineering and service delivery, ensuring robust and scalable virtualization solutions.

The position requires deep expertise in VCF, vSphere, vSAN, and NSX-T, contributing to the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level virtualization environments. You will play a crucial role in optimizing platform performance and integrating VCF with various adjacent technologies.

As a Senior VMware Administrator, you will be instrumental in operating and managing VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments. This includes deploying, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting VCF lifecycle management, workload domains, vCenter, ESXi hosts, vSAN clusters, and NSX‑T networking.

Your responsibilities will extend to implementing and maintaining enterprise virtualization standards, security hardening, disaster recovery strategies, and capacity planning. You will also oversee integrations with HCI, hardware, automation tools, and cloud services, continuously analyzing platform performance for optimization.

This role involves collaborating with architecture, networking, and security teams to ensure business and compliance alignment. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers on VCF architecture and best practices, while staying abreast of VMware roadmap updates and industry trends.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience is required, alongside a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale VMware vSphere environments.

Candidates must possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, including lifecycle management and workload domain operations. Significant experience (5+ years) with NSX‑T, covering distributed networking, security policies, and micro‑segmentation, is also essential.

Strong experience with vSAN deployment, storage policy management, and HCI capacity planning is necessary. A proven background supporting/administering Windows and/or Linux systems is crucial, along with deep knowledge of enterprise directory and authentication services like AD, DNS, DHCP, MFA, and Group Policy.
