Join our dynamic team as a Lead Senior Associate specializing in VMware Administration. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a technical expert within our Engineering as a Service/Operate division, focusing on advanced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.

You will play a pivotal role in operating and enhancing complex virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about virtualization and cloud technologies.

As a key member of the team, you'll contribute to the strategic direction of our infrastructure services and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Spearhead infrastructure operations as a technical authority on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC platforms. Manage the full lifecycle of VCF, including deployment, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of workload domains, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN clusters, and NSX-T networking.

Implement and uphold enterprise virtualization standards, robust security hardening, disaster recovery strategies, and proactive capacity planning. Oversee seamless integrations between VCF and other critical platforms like HCI, hardware, automation tools, and cloud services.

Continuously analyze platform performance to drive optimizations for scalability, efficiency, and reliability. Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, networking, and security teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance mandates. Mentor junior engineers on VCF architecture, best practices, and operational procedures. Stay abreast of VMware roadmaps, licensing changes, and industry innovations.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale VMware vSphere environments is essential.

Possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, covering lifecycle management and workload domain operations, along with 5 years of experience in NSX-T, including distributed networking, security policies, and micro-segmentation.

Demonstrate strong expertise in vSAN deployment, storage policy management, and HCI capacity planning. Proven experience supporting and administering Windows and/or Linux systems is a must. In-depth knowledge of enterprise directory and authentication services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, MFA, Group Policy, etc., is also crucial.
