Seeking a seasoned Senior SAP IS-A Vehicle Management System (VMS) Consultant with 7-9 years of SAP expertise and a strong background in the automotive sector. This role involves leading comprehensive SAP VMS implementations, guiding solution architecture, managing critical integrations, and mentoring team members. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to deliver robust and scalable automotive solutions.

Spearhead SAP IS-A Vehicle Management System (VMS) projects, from initial implementation through ongoing enhancements and support. Drive solution design workshops to translate business needs into effective SAP VMS strategies. Provide functional leadership for vehicle life cycle processes, including procurement, production, import, inventory, sales, and dealer operations. Offer expert advice on automotive industry best practices and process optimization.

Manage vehicle master data, actions, status, and authorizations within SAP VMS. Lead the design of vehicle ordering, allocation, distribution, sales, and dealer management. Support OEM and dealer scenarios across the automotive value chain. Expand VMS functionality for vehicle service, warranty, and after-sales.

Design and supervise integrations between SAP VMS and modules like SAP SD, MM, FI/CO, and external applications. Work with technical teams on interface solutions and system integrations. Contribute to enterprise architecture discussions, aligning solutions with business and technology standards.

Lead the design and upkeep of product configuration models using SAP LO-VC or SAP S/4HANA AVC. Manage configuration profiles, characteristics, classes, dependencies, and master data to ensure accurate product structures. Support complex automotive configuration and product lifecycle needs.

Drive VIN generation, genealogy, and traceability processes. Assist with data migration for master data, inventory, and transactions. Contribute to digital automotive initiatives using SAP Digital Vehicle Hub.

Lead functional design documentation, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution validation. Manage RICEFW objects and support project planning, estimation, risk management, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate global and cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.

Oversee unit testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution. Support cutover planning, deployment, and Go-Live. Provide post-production support, resolving complex issues. Drive continuous improvement and system optimization.

Act as a trusted advisor to business and project stakeholders. Mentor junior consultants and facilitate knowledge sharing. Lead requirement gathering, solution reviews, and executive discussions. Collaborate effectively with global teams and leadership.

A minimum of 7-9 years of SAP experience, with substantial focus on SAP IS-A Vehicle Management System (VMS). Proven track record leading at least one complete SAP VMS implementation project. Deep expertise in SAP VMS, SAP SD, SAP MM, and automotive logistics processes is essential.

Strong experience with SAP LO-VC and/or SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC). Proficiency in VIN Generation and Vehicle Lifecycle Management processes. A thorough understanding of automotive OEM and dealer business processes is required.

Experience with RICEFW objects and SAP data migration activities is crucial. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Superior verbal and written communication abilities are expected.

Preferred qualifications include experience with VIN Genealogy, Vehicle Service and Warranty Management processes, and SAP Digital Vehicle Hub. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Automotive solutions and relevant SAP certifications are advantageous.
