Seeking a skilled Senior Associate QA/Automation Test Engineer to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with 3-6 years of dedicated QA experience, particularly in Java-based test automation.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the high quality of our software deliverables by designing, executing, and maintaining automated test cases and scalable test frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in validating applications across diverse browsers and environments.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust Selenium automation frameworks and test scripts, executing comprehensive functional, regression, API, cross-browser, and end-to-end tests. You will also build and maintain automated test suites using Java, TestNG/JUnit, and Cucumber, integrating them seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines. Performing API and service-layer validation, generating detailed test execution reports, and identifying/tracking defects are also core aspects of this role.

Collaboration with development teams to resolve issues and supporting test execution across multiple browsers, environments, and scalable Selenium Grid setups will be essential for success.

We require strong proficiency in Java 8+ and OOP concepts, coupled with hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid. Expertise in TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber/BDD, and API testing using REST Assured/HTTPClient is mandatory. Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems like Git (branching, pull requests, workflow) is essential.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing, along with cross-browser testing capabilities. Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure/ExtentReports/TestNG Reports and SQL/Database testing is expected. A good grasp of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is also a prerequisite.
