Seeking a seasoned SAP Extended ECM for SuccessFactors Consultant to spearhead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of OpenText Extended ECM integrations with SAP SuccessFactors. This role requires a strong foundation in content management, HR document lifecycle processes, and seamless enterprise integration between OpenText xECM and SAP HCM/SuccessFactors.

Key duties include designing, configuring, and implementing OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors solutions, encompassing document generation, secure storage, efficient retrieval, and archiving of employee records. You will configure the intricate integration between SAP SuccessFactors modules and OpenText xECM/Content Server. Developing and maintaining workspace templates, business object types, classifications, and Records Management classifications within xECM are also core responsibilities.

Further tasks involve managing employee file structures, personnel file management, and digital document workflows for documents like contracts and offer letters. You will configure and maintain metadata mapping, taxonomy, and folder structures to align with HR business processes. Collaboration with HR, IT, and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications is essential.

This role also encompasses system configuration, customization, comprehensive testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment activities. Troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to document management, workflows, and integration points will be critical. Ensuring compliance with data privacy, retention policies, and audit requirements like GDPR and SOX is paramount.

Responsibilities extend to preparing detailed technical documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals. Providing production support, incident resolution, and implementing enhancements post go-live are also expected. Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to solution architecture discussions will foster team growth and knowledge sharing.

A minimum of 7–9 years of overall IT experience is required, with at least 3–4 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP SuccessFactors. A strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance & Goals, is essential.

Proven experience in OpenText Content Server administration and configuration is necessary. Hands-on expertise with Business Workspace configuration, RM classifications, and workspace templates is crucial. Familiarity with integration frameworks such as SFAPI, OData services, SAP PI/PO, or CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) is required.

Knowledge of document generation tools like OpenText Output Management, Adobe LiveCycle, or similar platforms is beneficial. A solid understanding of records management principles, retention schedules, and compliance requirements is expected. Experience working with XML, XSLT, and metadata mapping for effective document classification is also necessary.

Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills are needed for resolving complex integration and configuration issues. Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies is highly valued. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are vital for successful collaboration and project outcomes.
