Seeking a seasoned Senior Associate to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team as a Linux Administrator in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our robust Linux infrastructure. You will be instrumental in ensuring system stability, security, and optimal performance.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse Linux distributions and virtualization technologies, contributing to a high-availability environment. Your expertise will directly impact our service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems, along with performing OS upgrades and patching. You will provide day-to-day operational support for VMware vSphere and Proxmox environments, ensuring seamless virtualization.

Monitoring system health and performance, diagnosing bottlenecks, and implementing security policies are also core duties. Developing automation scripts in Bash, Python, or Perl, and utilizing configuration management tools like Ansible are essential. You will also troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with various teams on infrastructure projects and application deployments.

Proven experience as a Linux Administrator in production environments is required, with strong knowledge of Linux distributions, kernel concepts, file systems, and networking. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Salt is necessary.

Familiarity with VMware, Proxmox, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is expected. A solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SSH, and firewall concepts is vital. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are fundamental for this role.
