Join our team as a Lead Senior Associate focusing on Guidewire Testing, contributing to our Engineering as a Service/Operate model. This hybrid role, based in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, involves end-to-end quality ownership of Guidewire solutions.

Your expertise will ensure Guidewire platforms are stable, scalable, and production-ready by integrating robust quality engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will not only manage test execution but also drive quality strategy, automation leadership, and defect prevention, while mentoring junior QA engineers and serving as a key quality escalation point.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive quality and test strategies for Guidewire Insurance Suite and digital platforms, defining risk-based testing approaches, and ensuring early integration of quality checks (shift-left).

You will establish and enforce standards for functional, integration, performance, and non-functional testing, ensuring adherence to SDLC and Guidewire best practices. A significant part of the role involves driving automation-first testing, integrating it into CI/CD pipelines, and improving automation effectiveness.

As a QA lead in Agile teams, you'll guide sprint planning, testing, and release readiness from a quality perspective. You'll also own quality support for production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and partner with ADM and SRE teams to enhance reliability.

Furthermore, you will own the 360° testing strategy for Guidewire platforms, ensuring they meet performance benchmarks and supporting security testing. Mentoring junior QA engineers and promoting continuous improvement in test cycles and asset reuse are also crucial aspects of this role.

We require candidates with over 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, including strong hands-on experience with Guidewire platforms and a solid understanding of P&C insurance business processes. A Guidewire certification is mandatory.

Demonstrated experience leading QA workstreams or domains, coupled with a strong knowledge of Agile delivery and test management practices, is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are expected.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Guidewire Cloud (GWCP), automation frameworks for Guidewire (UI, API, integration), performance testing for high-transaction platforms, and familiarity with regulated or audit-driven environments. Collaboration experience with DevSecOps and SRE teams is also advantageous.
