You will be instrumental in guiding technical direction, maintaining quality, and serving as a primary technical escalation point for a range of Guidewire platforms.

Key responsibilities include owning the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, and digital platforms. You will lead solution design decisions, maximize out-of-the-box capabilities, and partner with architects to ensure adherence to enterprise standards. Additionally, you'll provide technical leadership across squads, govern code quality, set engineering standards, and support complex delivery initiatives. Ensuring integration architecture quality and meeting non-functional requirements are also crucial aspects of this role.

Further duties involve leading root-cause analysis for critical incidents, driving defect reduction, and collaborating with ADM, QE, and SRE teams for platform stability. You'll also work closely with business stakeholders to define realistic scopes and translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Mentoring junior developers and driving the adoption of reusable components will be integral to fostering continuous improvement.

We are seeking candidates with 1-3+ years of proven Guidewire development experience, demonstrating strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products such as PC, CC, and BC. A solid background in complex integrations and distributed systems is essential. Demonstrated experience in managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules is required.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory contexts, along with proven experience in owning production stability and operational outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount for success in this role. Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform, DevSecOps pipelines, and leading large-scale Guidewire programs are considered advantageous.
