You will drive technical direction, uphold quality, and guide senior and junior engineers, serving as the primary technical escalation point.

Take ownership of the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across domains like Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, and Digital platforms. Lead complex solution design decisions, maximizing out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture. Provide technical leadership across multiple squads, governing solution designs and code quality. Own integration architecture and non-functional requirements, ensuring solutions are production-ready and operable. Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive permanent fixes, collaborating closely with ADM, QE, and SRE teams to enhance platform stability. Shape solution options and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Mentor developers, build technical depth, and drive the adoption of reusable components.

Bring 1-3 years of Guidewire development experience with strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products (PC, CC, BC, Jutro). You should possess robust experience with complex integrations and distributed systems, coupled with proven success in managing technical delivery across teams. A solid understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory context is essential, as is experience owning production stability and operational outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills are a must. Preferred qualifications include experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability tools, as well as leading large-scale Guidewire programs or working in regulated enterprise environments.
