Seeking a Lead Senior Associate Business Analyst with extensive Guidewire expertise to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team in Bengaluru. This role is pivotal in translating intricate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements for Guidewire initiatives. You will serve as a senior contributor within Agile teams, ensuring the alignment of requirements with Guidewire product capabilities and organizational standards, driving strong execution and delivery reliability.

Key responsibilities include defining functional solutions for Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center by analyzing business requirements and developing Epics, features, and user stories. You will also partner closely with Product Owners and business SMEs to shape requirements, manage backlog quality, and ensure readiness for development. Active participation in Agile ceremonies, collaboration with development and testing teams, and providing functional support for production incidents are essential. Emphasis is placed on adhering to functional standards, promoting reuse, and continuous improvement.

Additionally, you will act as a role model for junior analysts, sharing best practices in requirement writing, functional modeling, and Guidewire domain knowledge. This includes supporting the onboarding and mentoring of new team members to foster team growth and capability development.

The ideal candidate possesses 5-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise settings, with substantial hands-on experience in the Guidewire Insurance Suite. A strong understanding of P&C insurance business processes and proven experience in Agile delivery environments are mandatory. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills are required to effectively engage with both business and technical stakeholders. Experience in multi-BU or shared-service delivery models and exposure to Guidewire Cloud transformations are considered advantageous.
