Join our Engineering as a Service team in Bengaluru as a Lead Senior Associate, focusing on Guidewire Business Analysis. This role involves translating complex business needs into clear, implementable functional requirements for Guidewire projects. You will operate as a senior member within Agile teams, ensuring all requirements are testable, align with Guidewire product capabilities, and adhere to established standards.

This position emphasizes strong execution, deep functional knowledge, and reliable delivery. You'll gain increasing ownership over both change initiatives and operational aspects of the systems.

We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in enterprise business analysis and a strong command of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, coupled with a solid understanding of P&C insurance processes. Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills are key to success in this dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include analyzing business requirements across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, and translating these into Epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will prioritize out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities while identifying and justifying any necessary configurations or customizations.

This role requires close partnership with Product Owners, Business SMEs, and Delivery Leads to clarify objectives, scope, and priorities. You will actively support impact analysis, assumptions, and trade-offs, contributing valuable input to business cases and solution options.

Owning the quality and readiness of backlog items, including user stories and non-functional requirements, is crucial. Ensuring stories are complete, unambiguous, testable, and ready for development, while maintaining traceability from business needs to delivered functionality, will be a core duty. You will also serve as the primary functional contact for story clarification during sprints and actively participate in Agile ceremonies like discovery workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and demos.

To be successful in this role, you should possess 7-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite is essential, alongside a solid understanding of P&C insurance business processes. Proven experience working effectively within Agile delivery teams is a must.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as are exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. The capacity to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders is paramount for this position.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in multi-business unit or shared-service delivery models, exposure to Guidewire Cloud transformations, and experience supporting production incidents or run activities. Familiarity with integration-driven architectures is also a plus.
