Architect and build large-scale ETL/ELT data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring efficiency and scalability. Optimize query performance and data processing workflows within BigQuery and other GCP data services. Develop and maintain robust data models, partitions, and schemas tailored for analytical workloads. Implement CI/CD practices and utilize version control systems like Git for efficient code management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the engineering community.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required. Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years focused exclusively on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Demonstrate strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and scripting; Java/Scala experience is also valued. Proven experience with core GCP data services including BigQuery, Dataflow/Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Composer (Airflow). Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, Terraform, and version control using Git is essential.
