Seeking a Full-Stack Senior Product Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners and engineering teams to design and implement innovative, user-centric advertising products and features at scale. You will take technical ownership, provide mentorship to peers, and ensure our systems are robust, observable, and prepared for future advancements.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and user interfaces utilizing Java and modern front-end frameworks for Disney’s Ad Platform.

Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering colleagues to deliver impactful features that enhance user-centric advertising.

Translate user stories into fully owned engineering tasks, overseeing development through to deployment.

Mentor and support team members via code reviews, documentation, and informal guidance.

Enhance system observability through the implementation of comprehensive metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure operational excellence.

Champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, and agile development methodologies.

Leverage and understand automated tools, including AI, while adhering to company policies.

A minimum of 4 to 8 years of progressive software engineering experience is required.

Demonstrated proficiency in Java and its associated frameworks like Spring Boot and ORMs.

Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular) is expected, along with an eagerness to learn new technologies.

Solid background in relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres, including schema design and query optimization.

Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.

Strong understanding of fundamental computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
