Key responsibilities include designing, building, and supporting scalable microservices and user interfaces for sophisticated ad platforms, utilizing Java and modern front-end frameworks. You will collaborate with product, UX, and engineering peers to deliver impactful features and translate user stories into actionable engineering tasks, overseeing their entire lifecycle from development to deployment.

Further responsibilities involve mentoring and supporting team members through code reviews and guidance, enhancing system observability with metrics and monitoring, and participating in on-call rotations for operational excellence. You will champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, and agile workflows, while also exploring and utilizing automated AI tools within company policies.

This role requires 4-8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a strong command of Java and related frameworks like Spring Boot. Proficiency in ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or Angular is necessary, alongside a willingness to embrace new technologies. A solid background in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), including schema and query design, is essential.

Candidates should have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, coupled with a strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are vital for working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
