Key responsibilities include designing, building, and supporting scalable microservices and user interfaces using Java and modern front-end frameworks. You will collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering peers to deliver impactful features. Translating user stories into actionable engineering tasks, mentoring teammates through code reviews and guidance, and enhancing system observability through metrics and monitoring are also vital.

Further duties involve participating in on-call rotations for operational excellence, championing best practices in code quality and testing, and leveraging automated tools, including AI, in accordance with company policies. We are looking for candidates with 4-8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Essential technical proficiencies include Java and its frameworks (like Spring Boot), modern JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS preferred, with flexibility for Vue/Angular), and strong relational database skills (MySQL, Postgres). Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems is required.

A strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms, is a must. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are crucial for working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field is preferred.
