Join our dynamic Engineering as a Service/Operate team as a Lead Fullstack Java Engineer. Your focus will be on data streams and integrations within the Music Integration Workstream. You'll work closely with internal and external teams to ensure the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of data flows between our music metadata repertoire system and various applications.

Spearhead the architectural design and implementation of significant projects, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to organizational standards. Resolve critical issues and drive the adoption of best practices across engineering teams.

Provide mentorship to senior engineers, foster cross-team collaboration with Product Management, QA, and Design, and mediate stakeholder disagreements to achieve alignment. Build strong relationships within engineering and with cross-functional partners, promoting knowledge sharing and shaping a positive team culture.

Lead development projects involving multiple components and teams, defining architectural roadmaps and ensuring system scalability and maintainability. Your decisions will significantly impact project and team success, contributing to large-scale solutions and strategic planning. Your contributions will drive product and project success, measured by customer and operational objectives, with a material impact on business outcomes and a focus on innovation and technical strategy.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering is essential, with a proven history of designing, developing, and deploying production-grade applications. Expertise in Java and JVM-based languages is required, complemented by extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration, and related frameworks.

A comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing (unit, integration, functional), code reviews, and documentation, is crucial. Experience with event-driven architectures (EDA) and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS is also a key requirement.

Proficiency in relational databases, SQL, schema design, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling is necessary. You should have hands-on experience with API design and integration (RESTful and event-based), and a working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth 2.0.

Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, RDS, VPC, messaging/streaming services), distributed caching solutions, enterprise and data integration concepts, and modern observability tools is expected. A strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms, along with excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and problem-solving skills within an Agile environment, are vital for success in this role.
