Key responsibilities include: - Driving technical excellence by fixing critical bugs and leading architectural design and implementation for major projects. - Mentoring senior engineers, facilitating cross-functional collaboration with Product, QA, and Design teams. - Mediating disagreements, driving stakeholder alignment, and building strong relationships within engineering and with external partners. - Encouraging knowledge sharing to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering production-grade applications. Essential skills include strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write efficient, maintainable, and testable code.

Key technical competencies required: - Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and file formats like Avro, Parquet, and JSON for large-scale data processing. - Advanced SQL knowledge, covering data modeling, schema design, relational database concepts, query optimization, and performance tuning. - Expertise in data platform technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow. - Deep understanding of data integration concepts and ETL/ELT pipeline design. - Experience with containerization and DevOps practices (GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong knowledge of cloud environments, especially AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS/SNS, VPC). - Solid understanding of data lakehouse and microservices architectures. - Experience integrating with APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and handling data streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub). - Proficiency with Linux environments and shell scripting (bash). - Strong grasp of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. - Understanding of data governance, security, and observability best practices.
