As a Sr. Workato Developer, you will manage the complete lifecycle of Workato integration projects, from initial design and configuration through to testing and deployment. Responsibilities include setting up Workato environments, translating business needs into technical solutions, and conducting detailed field mapping. You will ensure adherence to integration best practices and standards, prepare technical design documents, and act as a liaison between application teams and stakeholders.

Your role will involve end-to-end testing of integrated components, providing optimization support, and delivering post-implementation assistance to enhance user adoption and system performance. Troubleshooting integration issues and estimating project efforts are key aspects. Effective communication, managing stakeholder expectations, and supervising junior team members will be crucial for success.

We are seeking a candidate with 7-9 years of experience in Application-to-Application (A2A) and Business-to-Business (B2B) integrations, including a minimum of 4 years of hands-on Workato experience. Proven ability to implement complex, scalable, and high-volume integration solutions is essential. Experience with real-time, batch, and ETL patterns, as well as integrating cloud and on-premises applications, is required.

Proficiency in API management and web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL), along with strong skills in SQL, JSON, XML, and a programming language, is necessary. A solid understanding of authorization and authentication protocols like WS-Security and OAuth, and knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), are expected. Strong technical expertise in Workato, integration design, and the ability to mentor junior staff are vital for this role.
