This role focuses on leading advanced engineering initiatives within our Foundry & Managed Services division, specifically within the Engineering as a Service domain. You will be instrumental in developing and managing robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure platforms essential for critical business operations and digital transformation.

We are looking for professionals who drive technical excellence, ensuring high-quality infrastructure solutions aligned with enterprise standards. The focus is on maintaining system stability, scalability, and availability across complex VMware platforms, while collaborating effectively with architecture, security, and operations teams for seamless delivery.

Serve as a key technical authority for infrastructure programs centered on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, and SDDC technologies.

Lead the comprehensive lifecycle management of VCF components, including deployment, configuration, upgrades, and intricate troubleshooting. This encompasses workload domains, vCenter, ESXi hosts, vSAN clusters, and NSX networking to ensure platform stability and security.

Implement and uphold enterprise virtualization standards, emphasizing security hardening, robust disaster recovery strategies, and effective capacity planning. Oversee the seamless integration of VCF platforms with adjacent systems like HCI infrastructure, hardware, automation tools, and hybrid cloud services.

Monitor and analyze system performance rigorously, identifying optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Provide essential technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering best practices in VMware technologies and architecture.

A strong foundation in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale VMware vSphere environments is crucial.

Demonstrate hands-on expertise with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including its lifecycle management and workload domain operations. Deep knowledge of NSX-T, covering distributed networking, micro-segmentation, and security policy management, is essential.

Proven experience with vSAN deployments, storage policy configurations, and HCI capacity planning is required. You should have experience managing enterprise virtualization platforms across Windows and/or Linux environments, coupled with a solid understanding of enterprise authentication and directory services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MFA, Group Policy).

An ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize system performance is key. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork with cross-functional technical teams. Experience in infrastructure automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement initiatives is highly valued, alongside a self-driven mindset for managing critical high-availability environments. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred, alongside 8+ years in VMware infrastructure engineering and 5+ years with VCF and NSX-T.
