Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining robust AWS infrastructure across multi-account and multi-region environments. You'll champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, administer and enhance Amazon EKS clusters, and develop custom Kubernetes controllers. A key part of this role involves defining and promoting multi-cloud architecture best practices, analyzing complex platform challenges, and collaborating effectively with development, security, and architecture teams.

You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring clear communication of technical solutions. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our platform, ensuring its scalability, security, and high availability.

We seek a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong communication skills and a proven ability to solve ambiguous problems with pragmatic solutions. A structured, methodical approach to debugging and a growth mindset are essential. Significant hands-on experience is required in:

- Terraform: Writing production-grade configurations, managing workspaces, and provisioning AWS resources (EKS, VPC). - Kubernetes & EKS: Cluster administration, workload management, RBAC, networking, upgrades, and developing custom controllers. - Helm: Authoring complex charts, managing umbrella charts, and troubleshooting deployment issues. - Istio: Deploying and operating Istio, understanding traffic management, and security features. - AWS: Designing and operating multi-region architectures, with deep knowledge of EKS, VPC, EC2, S3, API Gateway, and networking concepts.

Familiarity with GitOps tools, observability stacks, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
