Seeking a Senior Backend Developer to architect and deliver sophisticated, large-scale distributed systems. Design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure backend systems. Architect complex solutions using microservices, event-driven, or domain-driven patterns. Lead design discussions and make critical architectural choices. Develop and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs and backend services. Optimize system performance through caching and efficient data handling. Work with large-scale data processing and distributed architectures. Collaborate across teams for end-to-end delivery. Drive code quality and engineering standards via reviews and mentorship. Identify and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks. Implement and support CI/CD, monitoring, and observability. Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues with root cause analysis. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity.

Required strong backend expertise in Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, Python, or Go. Proficiency in REST API design and implementation, with a deep understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles. Extensive experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed systems design, including fault-tolerant and highly available architectures. Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis), with strong data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning skills. Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and an understanding of asynchronous processing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Solid grasp of load balancing, caching, and performance tuning. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
