Lead backend design discussions and make critical architectural choices. Develop and maintain robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs and backend services. Optimize system performance through effective caching and data management. Work extensively on large-scale data processing and high-throughput distributed architectures. Collaborate seamlessly with product, architecture, DevOps, and frontend teams for full lifecycle delivery. Champion code quality, engineering best practices, and standards through reviews and mentorship. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, bottlenecks, and scalability challenges. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues with thorough root cause analysis. Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

Demonstrate strong expertise in at least one backend technology such as Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, Python, or Go. Possess proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Exhibit a deep understanding of design patterns, clean architecture, and SOLID principles. Showcase substantial experience with microservices, event-driven, and distributed systems architecture. Have experience designing fault-tolerant and highly available systems. Possess strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). Expertise in data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning is essential. Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is required.
