The ideal candidate possesses strong backend fundamentals, a commitment to testing, and practical experience with modern microservices architectures and Kubernetes deployments.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI. You will write automated tests with Pytest for code quality and reliability, and utilize Postman for API development and debugging. Deployment and management of microservices on Kubernetes are also core duties.

Collaboration is key, working with product, data, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver complete features. You'll optimize application performance, scalability, and security, while supporting CI/CD workflows and participating in code reviews. Troubleshooting production issues and maintaining high engineering standards through documentation and best practices are also expected.

This role requires hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Pytest, Postman, and Kubernetes. Experience with distributed systems and microservices is essential.
