Take full ownership of development, testing, and deployment tasks at the application and software component level.
Troubleshoot and refactor existing codebases to enhance performance and maintainability.
Proactively adopt new programming languages and architectural patterns as required by project demands.
Influence strategic decisions within the team and contribute to technical roadmap development.
Provide guidance and support to peers and junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
Demonstrate continuous learning and a commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements.
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Git/BitBucket, and Artifactory. Experience in designing and implementing efficient CI/CD workflows that ensure high-quality code delivery with minimal manual intervention is essential.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience administering Cloudbees or open-source Jenkins, and proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Go, Groovy, Perl, or Ruby.
Key responsibilities include designing and enhancing deployment automation using Chef, orchestrating builds with Jenkins, and integrating tools like Sonar, Chef, Maven, and Artifactory. You will engage in the full service lifecycle, from inception to operation and refinement, scaling systems sustainably through automation and improving reliability and velocity. Experience with incident response, blameless postmortems, and a holistic approach to problem-solving are highly valued. You'll collaborate with a global team and demonstrate decisiveness in challenging situations.
