This role involves end-to-end oversight of development life cycles, from initial concept and bid stages through architecture, design, build, testing, and production delivery. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our infrastructure solutions are robust, scalable, and secure, aligning with Mastercard's vision for a sustainable and prosperous future.
Develop high-level designs for platform infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap and end-of-support dates. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Delivery, Engineering, and Operations, to integrate new solutions. Guarantee that all new solutions adhere to established policies, standards, and meet critical non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability, security, and manageability. Proactively identify, assess, and communicate technical risks to both business and operational stakeholders. Evaluate and trial new technologies, taking ownership of product assessments for current and future project needs.
A seasoned professional with 9-13 years of relevant career experience in network architecture or related technologies is essential. Must hold Cisco CCIE certification and possess expertise with F5 and Palo Alto technologies. Proficiency in Arista, Checkpoint, and Infoblox is required. Significant experience operating within demanding, high-availability environments is critical. Demonstrated success in delivering complex technical designs and architectures is a must. Excellent ability to communicate intricate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Flexibility and adaptability to embrace new products, services, strategies, and work methodologies. A thorough understanding of how non-functional requirements like performance and availability are achieved through technology solutions is necessary. Experience with Netbrain and Gigastor is desirable.
