Our Systems and Platform Architecture team is seeking a skilled Middleware Solutions Architect. This role is pivotal in designing and overseeing middleware solutions throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial bid and concept to architecture, design, build, testing, and production delivery.

This position involves producing high-level designs for middleware architecture solutions and maintaining a technology roadmap aligned with end-of-support dates. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Delivery, Engineering, and Operations.

A key responsibility is ensuring new solutions adhere to established policies and standards while meeting defined non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, availability, security, and manageability. You will also identify, assess, and communicate technical risks to both business and operations stakeholders, and evaluate products for current and future use, including taking ownership of trialing new technologies.

We are looking for a candidate with 8-12 years of relevant experience in middleware technologies. Essential expertise includes IBM Tivoli (Workload Scheduler), MQ, SWIFT (SAA, SAG, SWP), GoAnywhere (MFT, GAG) for file transfer, and Oracle Middleware (ODI for Data Integration, OAS Application Server).

Proficiency in Observability, Java, and scripting languages like Python is required. Experience with PKI Signing software (SafeTronic) and integration with HSMs is also necessary. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in high-availability environments and a proven track record of delivering complex technical designs and architectures. Excellent communication skills are vital for presenting technical information to diverse audiences and articulating vision and roadmaps effectively.
