Further duties encompass driving engineering excellence through code reviews and automated testing, troubleshooting production issues with root cause analysis, and identifying opportunities to leverage AI for product and productivity enhancements. Participation in on-call support and vendor collaboration is also expected.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with over 5 years of software engineering experience in a product or technology-focused company. Essential skills include strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, and Software Engineering principles, along with proficiency in languages like Java.

Candidates must have experience building scalable web applications, distributed systems, and microservices, alongside designing high-volume REST APIs. A solid grasp of system design concepts, including scalability, caching, messaging (Kafka, Event Hubs, RabbitMQ), resiliency, and performance optimization, is crucial. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, hybrid cloud architectures (on-premises/cloud/Azure), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), Docker, and Kubernetes is also necessary.
