This role focuses on building and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions within the healthcare domain. You will work with large datasets and advanced technologies to create impactful applications that connect individuals with the care and resources they need.
Design and implement agentic workflows using LLMs to decompose tasks, utilize tools, and synthesize information from diverse data sources. Develop retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and hybrid search pipelines for robust question answering. Build scalable microservices, APIs, and cloud solutions, including feature stores and embedding pipelines.
Leverage and adapt LLMs through prompt engineering, grounding, and domain adaptation for healthcare. Establish evaluation frameworks for AI model quality, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and ethical standards. Own MLOps/LLMOps for continuous integration, automated testing, versioning, and reliable production deployments with observability and cost controls.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of technology experience. This includes 8+ years of hands-on software development, data engineering, or analytics with a strong focus on AI/ML delivery, preferably on Azure. Proficiency is expected in Scala, Python, PySpark, Databricks, ADF/Airflow, Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), Docker/Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with LLMs & GenAI frameworks like Langchain, RAG, Vector DBs, and Azure OpenAI is essential, along with a strong understanding of containerization. Experience building full-stack applications or services is also required. A background in regulated industries and a commitment to security, privacy, and compliance (HIPAA) are crucial for this role.
