The Revenue Operations & Enablement team seeks a dynamic Lead Business Analyst. This crucial role serves as the link between Finance stakeholders and Technology, focusing on our Revenue platform. Responsibilities include structured intake, defining clear requirements, prioritization, release readiness, UAT coordination, production support, issue triage, documentation, reporting oversight, and continuous improvement.
We are looking for an intellectually curious and analytical individual who excels at collaborating across business and technical teams. The ideal candidate brings structure to a growing platform support model, possesses strong project management discipline, application support experience, a consulting mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently while communicating effectively.
As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be the primary liaison for FundApp and CRS, ensuring clear ownership and alignment between Finance and Technology stakeholders regarding requirements, priorities, and delivery outcomes. Your role will involve managing system enhancements, project inputs, setup, configuration, application support, and related operational activities.
You will translate complex business needs into precise business and technical requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and reporting specifications. Partnering with key business users, you'll provide application overviews, explain new features, identify automation opportunities, and support user training. Collaboration with internal technical teams is key for issue resolution, confirming system behavior, and aligning business needs with technical plans.
This position requires providing ongoing production support, including problem management, root cause analysis, and communication of business impacts. You will lead evaluations for new capabilities, process improvements, and workflow changes, aligning with business requirements and governance priorities. Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, business validation, and post-implementation checks will ensure system updates perform as expected. Maintaining documentation, process guides, and support materials is essential.
Furthermore, you will support SOX and audit compliance by maintaining control documentation and identifying improvement opportunities. Driving continuous improvement by identifying manual processes, data quality issues, reporting limitations, and areas for simplification within the system support model will be a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive business analysis experience supporting enterprise business platforms, ideally within Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Fund Administration, billing, order-to-cash, or rebate/incentive systems. A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience is required.
You should have a solid understanding of general accounting practices, financial controls, reporting processes, and multi-currency business environments. A proven ability to bridge communication between business and Technology teams, translating operational needs into clear requirements, and maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle is essential.
Familiarity with platform governance disciplines, including intake management, backlog prioritization, issue triage, release planning, UAT coordination, documentation, control readiness, and operational reporting, is necessary. Experience working closely with Finance stakeholders on forecasting, spend tracking, accruals, reporting, reconciliations, and audit support is also important.
Strong project management skills, including prioritization, follow-through, risk tracking, and status communication, are vital for managing multiple deliverables simultaneously. Excellent communication and influencing skills are required to engage global stakeholders, lead working sessions, articulate technical issues in business terms, and prepare concise decision-ready materials. Demonstrating strong ownership, curiosity, judgment, and proactively identifying gaps will contribute to building a scalable operating model.
