Key duties include translating user stories into actionable engineering tasks, providing mentorship through code reviews and guidance, and enhancing system observability via metrics, monitoring, and alerting. Participation in on-call rotations and championing best practices in code quality, testing, and agile methodologies are also core to this role. Utilizing AI-driven automated tools while adhering to company policies is expected.

A minimum of 6-9 years of comprehensive software engineering experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Java and its associated frameworks like Spring Boot, alongside experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS. A solid background in relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), including schema and query design, is crucial.

Expertise in working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems is necessary.
