Join our dynamic team as a Guidewire Automation Test Analyst, focusing on the GT Framework. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality work products within set timelines. You will enhance Guidewire application testing through robust automation, leading to improved release quality and optimized processes. Collaborate with various teams to champion automation initiatives and drive innovation in our testing lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using the Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework. Execute comprehensive automation suites for Guidewire applications like PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter to ensure superior product quality. You will translate requirements into effective test scenarios, identify automation opportunities to boost regression coverage, and contribute to accelerated release cycles.
Proactively identify and communicate risks and defects. Support continuous integration and testing within Agile/DevOps environments. Maintain essential test artifacts, documentation, and metrics. Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. Contribute to process enhancements and innovative testing solutions. Stay updated on Guidewire platform changes and automation best practices. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and demonstrate ownership of all deliverables.
We are seeking candidates with 2–4 years of overall IT experience, including at least 2 years specifically in Guidewire Automation Testing using the GT Framework. Essential skills include hands-on automation experience with Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), a strong grasp of Guidewire integration and configuration, and proficiency with GOSU, Web Services, XML, and Guidewire data models.
Familiarity with platform upgrades and validation via automated testing is required. You should be capable of designing automation frameworks and enhancing existing scripts. Experience in test estimation, planning, and execution is also necessary. A good understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is expected, alongside strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to diverse business domains and apply technical testing solutions is key. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is a must.
Certifications such as Guidewire Specialist, ACE, or Cloud certifications are highly preferred. Additional advantages include experience with CodeNarc, Guidewire Cloud versions, Java/J2EE, and test management tools like JIRA or ALM. Knowledge of performance or API testing is also beneficial. An equivalent degree in BE, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc (Computer Science) from an accredited university is required.
