Join Birlasoft's Next Gen Application Engineering Practice as an experienced Microsoft Solution Architect. This role focuses on designing, architecting, and governing enterprise application solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. Key areas include cloud-native engineering, application modernization, DevSecOps, and AI-driven transformations.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of deep architectural expertise and strong customer-facing, presales, and delivery leadership skills. You'll translate business needs into secure, scalable, and commercially viable solution architectures, manage RFP responses, assist with solution estimations, and effectively present recommendations to clients.

Shape and architect enterprise application solutions leveraging the Microsoft technology stack. Govern solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. Drive cloud-native engineering, application modernization, and DevSecOps initiatives. Lead RFP and proposal responses, providing expert technical input. Support the estimation of solutions and present findings to stakeholders.

A minimum of 15 years in enterprise application engineering, with at least 3 years in solution or technical architecture. Proficiency in C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, and modern application architecture patterns. Solid understanding of React or Angular and full-stack architecture. Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle, data modeling, and integration patterns. Hands-on experience with Azure services like App Service, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Entra ID, Monitor, and Application Insights. Familiarity with containers, Docker, Kubernetes / AKS, and cloud-native deployment. Experience with Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and DevSecOps. Proven experience in customer-facing solutioning, presales, RFP responses, estimation, and technical presentations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and documentation skills.
