We are actively seeking a Lab Design and Delivery Lead, also known as a Lab Manager, to ensure our lab environments mirror the efficiency and sophistication of a production office.

This specialist role involves designing and implementing robust infrastructure to serve as a validation platform for critical systems including Secure, Print, Lockers, AV, and various Spaces and Services. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping a cutting-edge validation environment.

As the Lab Design and Delivery Lead, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of our enterprise technology lab environment, from initial design and delivery to ensuring operational readiness.

Key responsibilities include defining comprehensive lab architecture, connectivity, identity management, device management, monitoring, security, and environmental requirements that align with production standards. You will develop validation capabilities across Secure, Print, Lockers, AV, and Spaces and Services solutions, while establishing essential lab governance, access controls, asset inventory, change control, and safety practices.

Furthermore, you will manage lab capacity, budget, procurement, and vendor activities, alongside developing test environments and release-validation processes for software, firmware, and configuration changes. Coordinating with various product and operational teams will be crucial for maintaining production relevance, and you will lead incident resolution and continuous improvement initiatives for lab services, guiding the work of lab technicians.

To excel in this role, a Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is required, coupled with extensive experience in designing and operating enterprise technology labs or complex AV infrastructure.

Proven capabilities in planning, delivery, supplier management, and technical leadership are essential. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and adept risk management expertise.
