Manage and maintain critical lab infrastructure, including Linux servers, virtual machines, and network environments. Ensure seamless operations for engineering and testing activities through expert configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers and virtualization platforms (VMware/KVM). Handle system administration tasks such as OS installations, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and robust backup/recovery procedures. Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash/Python scripting and proactively address infrastructure incidents to minimize downtime. Foster collaboration with engineering and testing teams to deliver a secure, reliable, and highly available lab environment.

A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience is required for this role. Essential skills include proficiency in Linux, virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM), and network management (VLANs, routing, switching). Experience with system administration tasks, including OS installation, patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and backup/recovery is crucial. The ability to automate tasks using Bash or Python scripting is expected. A Bachelor's degree, such as a B.Tech, is required for this position.
