NTT DATA is seeking a skilled L3 Java Support Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. As a key member of the team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts. Your expertise will be vital in resolving complex technical challenges and enhancing client experiences through robust support structures.

You will lead and oversee support activities, investigate and resolve complex technical issues, and serve as the primary point of escalation for critical support matters. This involves managing daily team operations to meet stringent Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting intricate problems in collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing escalations and incidents by directing the team and updating stakeholders, and overseeing staff schedules. You will also engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, provide monthly performance reports, and ensure adherence to standard processes, all while mentoring junior team members.

Your role will also involve influencing and suggesting roadmap improvements for the Controls Engineering client experience, driving continuous process enhancements to boost reliability and minimize risk, and ensuring the successful resolution of all issues.

We require a candidate with a proven track record of team leadership in a support environment and 10-15 years of experience. Essential technical skills include working knowledge of Java, Kubernetes, and front-end technologies like REACT. You must be adept at executing support tasks while also contributing to functional development and automating the resolution of recurring issues.

Proficiency in SDLC, CVS, SVN, GIT, Maven, GITLAB, Docker, Jenkins, and LINUX system platforms is mandatory. Experience with production support, incident management, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and managing the incident lifecycle is crucial.

Furthermore, supporting Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) operations, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps), and infrastructure/platform support across Linux environments is expected. Automation skills using Shell, Python, or Perl scripting are highly valued, along with experience in configuration management tools. Knowledge of databases like Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Sybase, and application servers such as Apache and Tomcat is also necessary.
