Seeking an experienced Kubernetes L3 Lead to manage and maintain on-premise and client-dedicated computing platforms. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of system engineering, physical datacenters, storage, and backup environments. The lead will oversee patching, upgrades, and continuous improvement of the operating environment, contributing to capacity and performance reports.

Key responsibilities include providing maintenance and support for all systems, monitoring performance, executing corrective actions, and resolving incidents. The role also involves installing, configuring, and testing operating systems, liaising with IT teams and vendors, and developing plans for security, backup, and redundancy. Fostering capabilities in emerging technologies and defining robust processes are also integral to this position.

Manage and maintain on-premise and client-dedicated computing platforms and servers. Oversee system engineering, physical datacenter operations, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. Ensure the smooth operation of storage and data protection environments. Monitor and report on first-level incidents and alerts for storage and backup. Perform basic administration tasks with standard work instructions. Assist teams with inputs for new builds, administration, and decommissioning of storage products. Contribute to capacity and performance reports. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents effectively. Develop and execute plans for patching, security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Drive continual service improvement actions for storage and backup environments.

Proven experience as a Kubernetes L3 Lead or in a similar senior operations role. Strong understanding of system engineering and physical datacenter operations. Expertise in managing and maintaining storage and backup environments. Proficiency in incident resolution and troubleshooting. Experience with patching, security, and redundancy strategies. Ability to develop and execute operational plans. Familiarity with emerging technologies in cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with IT teams and vendors.
