As a System Planning Engineer, you will conduct crucial power system studies and network planning. This includes evaluating system performance, identifying constraints, and recommending solutions for transmission and distribution systems.
Your responsibilities will involve performing load flow, contingency, short-circuit, and stability studies. You will analyze system constraints, develop reinforcement plans, and evaluate grid performance under various scenarios. Integrating renewable energy sources and preparing technical reports are also key aspects of this role.
We are seeking an experienced professional with over 5 years in Power System Planning, Network Studies, or Grid Analysis. A strong grasp of electrical power systems and transmission/distribution networks is essential.
Your background should include hands-on experience with load flow, contingency, fault level, and stability analysis. The ability to develop technical recommendations for system reinforcement and expansion is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field is necessary. Proficiency with mandatory tools such as PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PowerWorld, Microsoft Excel, and GIS tools is required. Experience with power system studies, load flow analysis, contingency analysis, stability studies, and network planning is critical.
