This role involves the comprehensive design, build, deployment, and management of Kubernetes production environments. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications, services, and engineering utilities using Java and Python, including building cloud-native/microservices-based applications with Java/Spring Boot.

Key duties include developing Python-based automation, scripts, and operational tooling, and taking full ownership of solutions from development through deployment, monitoring, and optimization. You will work hands-on with Kubernetes configurations, scaling, and networking, alongside configuring and troubleshooting load balancers, ingress controllers, and DNS. Applying SRE principles to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability is crucial, as is performing production troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis across various layers. Automation through Infrastructure as Code and building CI/CD pipelines are also integral aspects of this position.

We are looking for candidates with strong, practical experience in production Kubernetes environments and proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Essential skills include robust programming experience in both Java and Python, with hands-on experience in Java/Spring Boot and microservices, as well as strong Python scripting and automation capabilities.

Demonstrated SRE/DevOps engineering experience is required, alongside hands-on expertise in load balancing, ingress, networking, DNS, and traffic management. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting skills across applications, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and networking. Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) is necessary. Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Splunk, Datadog) and a solid understanding of Docker, containers, and Linux are also key requirements. Proven end-to-end implementation and production ownership experience is expected.
