This position is with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP and is based in Bengaluru.
You will be responsible for leveraging hands-on experience with AWS compute and migration patterns, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch. Your duties will involve understanding and applying on-prem to cloud migration strategies, including workload assessment, testing, and post-migration validation. Additionally, you will develop automation frameworks using Python, Java, or Shell scripting and work with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like GitLab and Jenkins.
Further responsibilities include utilizing batch scheduling platforms, implementing monitoring and logging solutions with tools like Splunk, and designing repeatable automation. You are expected to demonstrate exceptional analytical and debugging skills, drive work to closure, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Collaboration across various engineering teams and across time zones is crucial for success in this role.
We are seeking experienced C/C++ developers with a strong background in AWS Cloud Migration. Essential technical skills include hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud migration strategies, and programming/automation in Python, Java, or Shell. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CI/CD tools, batch scheduling, and observability platforms is required.
Ideal candidates possess strong Unix/Linux fundamentals, experience with SDLC practices, and knowledge of Kubernetes deployments. The role demands exceptional analytical and troubleshooting abilities, a proactive ownership mindset, and clear communication skills. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline and 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience are necessary qualifications.
